COMPLAINT PROCESS

The following is the process for addressing complaints towards the IDC and how the IFC Executive Board will use your complaint to rectify an issue.

  1. The IFC VP for Risk and IFC VP for Standards will read through all the responses on the "IFC Grievance Form."
  2. The IFC VP for Risk and IFC VP for Standards will compile all information regarding the chapter in question for the event/night in question, in order to effectively determine whether or not there is a viable Judicial Board case to be brought against the named chapter.
3A. In the event that there is reason to bring the named chapter to a Judicial Board hearing, the IFC VP for Standards will follow all Standards Board processes to ensure due process while hearing the named chapter's case.

3B. In the event that there is not reason to bring the named chapter to a Judicial Board hearing, the IFC VP for Standards will store that complaint alongside other community reports, calling upon them in the event that the named chapter does not rectify the problematic behavior. Notably, old grievances can be brought back up in the event of repeated issues from a chapter.
